A top 10 global financial institution is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Sustainability to support the development and execution of its sustainability strategy across its EMEA operations. This is an exciting opportunity to drive real impact in reducing carbon emissions, minimizing environmental impacts, and managing sustainability risks in the supply chain.
The Role:
As the Vice President, Corporate Sustainability, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across departments, regions, and affiliates to align and leverage approaches to corporate sustainability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating progress, status updates, and escalations within the Corporate Sustainability workstream
- Supporting business case development and evaluating options considering commercial and sustainability factors
- Leading the implementation of approved projects/deliverables, including planning, preparing deliverables, and stakeholder communication
- Facilitating working groups and steering committees, preparing reports and management information
- Keeping abreast of emerging sustainability topics and regulations relevant to corporate sustainability
The Ideal Candidate:
- Passion for ESG and sustainability, with experience working in a regulated and organizationally complex environment (preferably financial services)
- Strong project management skills and experience delivering impactful change initiatives
- Strong influencing skills, able to devise strategy and execute change effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities
- Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting
- Proactive, motivated self-starter with a results-driven approach
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines
